When it comes to capturing life’s milestones, there’s nothing quite like the joy of photographing a high school graduate on the cusp of a new adventure. In the picturesque backdrop of Lake Tahoe, Nevada, I had the privilege of photographing the effervescent Ava as she celebrated her high school graduation in style. Her vibrant personality and the stunning beach setting made this photoshoot an unforgettable experience.

Ava’s magnetic personality came through effortlessly during the photoshoot. She moved with grace and confidence, her laughter was infectious across the beach as she ventured around the beach & into the water. I couldn’t help but be captivated by her genuine smile and the twinkle in her eyes. Also massive shoutout to Nikki Scheerer my right hand lady who does makeup for all my graduates!
My main goal, as is for all of my graduate sessions, is to capture my seniors true and authentic self. I had Ava scale rocks, adventure around the beach, think of her favorite high school memory, and sit on the beach as the sun went down. My favorite moment of the shoot was at the very end. Ava wanted to walk out in Lake Tahoe to fully embrace the cold plunge & play in the water. Genuine moments happen all the time, and I love to give my seniors the freedom to just be.
